Studio Policies
- Please print and complete this Student Intake Form to bring with you to your first lesson.
- Please come to your appointment in comfortable, full range of motion clothing. If necessary you may bring a change of clothing with you to change into. No binding or tight clothing please.
- Please bring an audio recording device, MP3 recorder or cassette tape recorder (with cassette).
- Bring sheet music for the song(s) you wish to work on.
- Head-shot and resume, if available.
- Please walk in with a "ready to learn" attitude. And please don't be nervous. I am here to help YOU!
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your appointment you must do so 48 hours before your scheduled time. Appointments cancelled without this notice will be charged the full appointment fee. However, you may ALWAYS schedule a make-up lesson in the following week, if schedule permits.
If a make-up class cannot be scheduled for an appointment cancelled without 48 hours notice, the student must be responsible for the entire fee. All make-ups must be scheduled within the NEXT calendar week, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
All Cancellations with or without notice will be charged for STUDIO RENTAL SURCHARGE. SRS fees cannot be refunded or applied to another lesson in NYC.
Additional Policies and Fees
- All Professional / Adult Division First lessons must be 60 minutes long, and paid for in advance via the website.
- All Junior Division First lessons must be 45 minutes long, and paid for in advance via the website.
- Money Back Guarantee offered during the first lesson. Ask for details.
NYC STUDIO RENTAL SURCHARGE (SRS)- A Studio Rental Surcharge (SRS) of $10.00 per lesson is added to all NYC lessons (45 or 60 minutes).
- This does not represent the entire rental fee, only a portion of it, which allows me to maintain my overall reduced fee structure.
MUSIC COPYING FEE- $2.00 per song for each song copied at the NYC Studio site. (no charge for music copied at my NJ studio site)
PAYMENT POLICY- Cash and Credit/Debit cards only
- No Personal Checks accepted.
